HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! While we are back from te Italian/Sardinian/Austrian Tour, we just get news we got airplay on YLE RADIO 1, the national Finnish Radio! Click here The tour was very succesfull. Omar Bandinu (Tenore di Bitti) and Pierangela Calzone (theatre director) gave their meaning (and so you get some cips from the tour):

Hi, We are working on the Italian/Sardinian tour of Griff Trio...: "Astragu" è il titolo del nuovo cd del gruppo belga GRIFF TRIO; in sardo nuorese significa "ghiaccio". Il repertorio musicale dell'album si snoda fra le melodie delle tradizioni invernali più in generale e di quelle natalizie più specificamente, spaziando su brani e melodie dell'intero continente Europeo: dalla Galizia al Belgio fino al Galles ed includendo anche un brano della tradizione natalizia algherese. GRIFF TRIO sarà in Sardegna da dicembre 28 fino al 2 di gennaio per presentare il suo nuovo lavoro e viaggerà nell'isola per portare il suo dono, come, in altri tempi, fecero i Re Magi. It's a bit rushy to get everything done, but here is the first video clip "MAKING OF ASTRAGU"!!! The rest is coming...
The AGENDA is also online! I hope you can find a gig matching your agenda! There are still a few options... so there will be maybe some change the coming days. This CD gets already airplay on Belgian radio stations (klara, Musique3, RTBF...) and we get good responds from the specialists who are going to review the CD... SEE YOU SOON! |
